The UK & Ireland Accessible Landscapes Hub

A new central resource is here, a single place where you can explore the UK & Ireland’s most accessible natural landscapes, organised clearly by region and national park.

For the first time, our new accessibility‑first guides will be brought together into one structured hub, including:

  • The Peak District: England’s Most Accessible National Park?
  • The Yorkshire Dales: Accessible Valleys, Waterfalls & Limestone Landscapes
  • The Lake District Revisited: Hidden Accessible Spots Beyond the Tourist Routes
  • Snowdonia (Eryri), North Wales Accessible Routes & Low‑Level Wonders
  • North Wales Coastal Path: Accessible Sections & Seaside Access Points
  • The Scottish Highlands Accessible Routes & Low‑Level Wonders
  • South West Coast Path Accessible Sections in Devon & Cornwall
  • Ireland (Wicklow, Kerry & Connemara Accessible Routes)
  • UK & Ireland Accessible Landscapes: A Closing Overview

Each of these posts will come out once a week, and the new hub will bring them together into a single, easy‑to‑navigate starting point.

What the Hub Will Do

The new hub page will:

  • Act as the main gateway to these regional guides
  • Explain how accessibility works in natural landscapes
  • Help you choose routes based on terrain, region, or travel style
  • Provide a clear internal linking structure for navigation
  • Give you a complete overview of accessible landscapes across the UK & Ireland

Whether you’re planning a trip, building an itinerary, or simply exploring what’s possible, the hub will make it far easier to find the right routes quickly.

Why This Matters

Accessible outdoor information is often scattered, inconsistent, or overly optimistic. This hub brings everything together in one place, clear, structured, and written for real‑world use.

It’s designed for:

  • Wheelchair users
  • Mobility‑impaired walkers
  • Families with prams
  • Neurodivergent travellers
  • Anyone who prefers predictable, low‑effort routes

And, as we’ve discovered, it’s also extremely useful for campervan travellers who want reliable, low‑stress places to stop and explore.

The full UK & Ireland Accessible Landscapes Hub is here.

You’ll be able to browse by region, compare national parks, and jump straight into the routes that match your needs, all from one central page.

A more accessible outdoors is coming.
